The reserve is bordered by the villages of Dedemsvaart, Balkbrug, and Zuidwolde. Here, you can soak in expansive views and experience an atmosphere of tranquility and space. Every detail has been taken care of to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. There are plenty of scenic walking and cycling routes right from your doorstep. Even if you prefer a more laid-back vacation, the farmhouse offers a perfect environment to unwind, whether it’s on the (partly covered) terrace or gathered around the cozy wood stove. The surrounding area offers a wide selection of cycling and walking paths. After a day of adventure, you can relax in the sauna or visit the nearby beauty center, just 2 kilometers away. The property is located within the picturesque Reestdal Nature Reserve, close to the villages of Zuidwolde, Balkbrug, and Dedemsvaart in southern Drenthe. With restaurants and a sauna nearby, it’s a great destination for both relaxation and outdoor activities. Children can enjoy a fun pancake meal at the local Pannenkoekenhuis. Within 5 kilometers, you'll find several supermarkets, public swimming pools, restaurants, and charming shopping streets.

Interior

The farmhouse accommodates up to 6 guests, with the option to host 8 guests upon request. It features 4 cozy bedrooms and a spacious living area, complete with a wood stove and sliding doors that open to a covered terrace. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities. Set on a private property, the home offers expansive views, and the ground floor is heated with underfloor heating for added comfort. Bed and bath linens can be rented upon request, so please contact us in advance if you wish to arrange this.

On the ground floor, you’ll find an entrance hall, a toilet, and a generously sized living room with a seating area, TV, and entertainment options like a DVD player and iPod dock. The kitchen includes all the essentials for a comfortable stay, such as a fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, stove, microwave, and freezer. A spacious bathroom with a washing machine completes the ground floor amenities, and two bedrooms with box-spring beds (180×210) offer restful sleeping spaces.

Upstairs, the first floor has a landing, a bedroom with a washbasin and box-spring beds (90×200), and another room with two single beds, a sofa bed, and its washbasin. The beds can be arranged as either singles or doubles to suit your needs. For families with young children, a high chair and baby cot are provided free of charge. Guests can enjoy meals or relax on the partly covered terrace, which also has a barbecue for outdoor dining.

There is ample parking space available next to the farmhouse for your convenience.

The house is designed for 6 adults and 2 children and cannot accommodate 8 adults. If more than 6 guests stay, there is an additional charge of €10 per person per night. Groups of young people are not allowed, and adult groups under 30 must pay a €50 deposit per person, except for families.
