Situated just five minutes from the center of Valjoly, with its shops, supermarket, restaurants, and bars, the cottages are ideally located near numerous attractions at the Valjoly tourist resort. Activities include Aquatica, the Adventure Park, an equestrian center, fishing, sailing, and more. Valjoly is close to the Belgian border and within a two-hour drive of Lille, Reims, and Brussels. Nearby, the picturesque towns of Willies and Eppe-Sauvage showcase the region's rich historical heritage amidst the serene natural setting.
Cottages
The spacious and bright Cottages de Valjoly are designed to offer a rejuvenating holiday experience, combining comfort and nature. Many of the cottages provide breathtaking views of the lake, ensuring a perfect balance between tranquility and outdoor adventure. Constructed from wood to harmonize with the surrounding environment, these accommodations blend seamlessly into the natural landscape.
Each of the 152 cottages accommodates two to eight guests, featuring a neutral yet elegant design, large French windows, and a private terrace with wooden garden furniture. The fully equipped kitchens ensure you have everything you need for a dream holiday in an idyllic location.

For basic supplies, a small grocery store nearby is perfect for stocking up, and supermarkets and a wider variety of restaurants are located in the surrounding towns.
Interior
This 2-room cottage has an area of 36 square meters and is suitable for 4 persons. It includes a living room with a sofa or 2 pull-out beds; a bedroom furnished with a double bed or 2 single beds; a kitchen equipped with a ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher; a bathroom equipped with bathtub or shower and toilet (mostly separate toilets); and a terrace complete with table and chairs. Some apartments are accessible for persons with reduced mobility.
There is a limited number of units that are wheelchair accessible and/or have adjustments in the house for disabled persons. Please contact us for information about the adjustments present to see if they match your needs. You can book this preference on request based on the availability.

Aquatica Park
For those who love swimming, diving, or sliding, the Aquatica center at Valjoly is a 3000m² haven dedicated to water fun and wellness. Wave pools, fast rivers, massage jets, waterfalls, hammams, saunas, and whirlpools await you for an invigorating splash-filled holiday!
The outdoor pool at the Aquatica Center will be closed this season, with a solarium garden available as an alternative.
Activities in Valjoly
With its stunning lake, Valjoly offers a variety of water-based activities and entertainment: sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, and pedal boating. Enjoy free and unlimited access to both an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, complete with wave machines and slides. (Note: swimwear should be appropriate; swimming shorts are not permitted). The swimming pools will be open in line with government regulations.
For relaxation, sunbathe on the picturesque lawns by the lake, or take a leisurely walk through the nearby Nostrimont forest. Bring a picnic and settle into a shaded corner for a well-deserved rest. Bikes and horseback riding, including water-based rides near the lake, are also available.
Challenge yourself with tree climbing and the adventure course, try your aim at laser tag, or test your skills at mini-golf. Children can enjoy trampolines or a special go-kart circuit. The on-site aquarium showcases 50 species of freshwater fish native to the region and provides insights into their unique characteristics.

Additional Information

- Lost door keys will incur a fee of €15–50.

Starting from summer season 2014, in order to ensure that the clients will leave the accommodations in a perfectly state of cleanness, a new cleaning deposit was added to the usual deposit. The amount of this second deposit is equal to the value of the final cleaning and varies according to the capacity of the accommodation. This new cleaning deposit is not applicable to the clients who have opted to pay for the final cleaning service. The final cleaning deposit is not cashed by the residence. If a client pays by cheque then the cheque is kept and destroyed in front of the client upon departure or the client will sign a guarantee on their credit card for this deposit. If clients choose to pay by cash, the amount will be returned upon departure. We need to receive your payment within 48 hours or you need to send us a valid proof of you payment in that time. Otherwise we are not able to keep your reservation after these 48 hours. The payment obligation will not lapse after this time.
