Situated on the shores of the Borromean Gulf, Stresa overlooks Isola Bella and is one of Lake Maggiore's most popular resorts. One of the town’s main attractions is the Borromean Islands, a group of picturesque islands located just off the coast - Isola Bella, Isola Madre, and Isola dei Pescatori. These islands are known for their opulent palaces, well-manicured gardens, and captivating beauty.

Visitors can take one of the ferries in the port (a 5-minute walk away) to explore the islands and immerse themselves in their rich history. The beautiful hiking area of Passeggiata Lungo Lago is within easy walking distance, and the famous Lake Orta is within half an hour’s drive.
